Specialty pharmaceutical Actavis buys Durata Therapeutics Inc. for about $616.4 million

The specialty Inc, Actavis acquiring Durata and its brand product which was confirmed by USFDA this May, Dalvance, which is an injection is a novel antibiotic for unmet medical needs.
This acquisition shall help Actavis strengthen its speciality in infectious diseases.
It will also certain the plans set by Actavis as a matter of company''s growth by 2015.
The deal value is estimated to be around US $ 675 Million.
Given the fact that regulatory targets are achieved for Dalvance, the share holders in Durata might receive an extra $5 per share.
Post this deal Durata shall become Actavis subsidiary with its base in Chicago.
