Monash University has entered into a strategic partnership with ClinChoice to support the faster development of innovative therapies and improve access to new treatments for patients worldwide.

The collaboration focuses on accelerating early-phase clinical trials by combining Monash University’s strong research and clinical network with ClinChoice’s global expertise in clinical development, regulatory support, and data science.

Monash University is part of one of Australia’s largest clinical trial networks, which includes five major affiliated health services, over 7,000 hospital beds, and a nationwide network of more than 3,000 general practitioners. Research led by the university represents a significant share of clinical trial activity in the country and reaches a large patient population.

Through this partnership, both organisations aim to strengthen patient-centred research and improve the efficiency of clinical development. The initiative is expected to enhance collaboration between academic researchers and the global biotechnology sector while supporting the delivery of new therapies in a more timely manner.

The agreement reflects a shared focus on advancing healthcare innovation by combining academic research capabilities with industry experience in global clinical operations.
