New Efficient-Pro Feed 3 and Feed Enhancer

Gibco™ Efficient-Pro™ Feed 3 and Efficient-Pro™ Feed Enhancer are specifically developed to meet the advanced nutritional needs of CHO-K1 GS cells, consistently supporting high cell growth and IgG productivity. When used in combination with Efficient-Pro™ Medium, this two-part feed system has demonstrated robust performance across both small-scale (Ambr™ 15) and larger-scale (3 L) bioreactor studies, achieving average viable cell densities of up to 45 × 10⁶ cells/mL and IgG titers of up to 5.1 g/L.

Both Efficient-Pro™ Feed 3 and Enhancer are chemically defined, animal origin–free, and available in multiple formats, allowing flexible integration into diverse workflows. In comparative studies, the system outperformed previous feed formulations, delivering a 36% increase in IgG titer while maintaining high product quality, including low aggregation levels and favorable N-glycan profiles. These attributes make the Efficient-Pro™ system an ideal solution for reliable and scalable bioproduction using CHO-K1 GS cell lines.
